We will be quoting modern Rabbi’s from the 1,800’s through today, from across Europe through the Middle East and beyond.

Mishna? Gemara? Talmud? Halacha? Shulchan Aruch? Rabbi? Chacham? Tanna? Modern? Ancient? Ashkenaz? Sephard? Get a grip on the Torah trail, relive it and apply it.

    Course Scenarios:

Orogold, a high-end cosmetic retailer, opened a branch in the Caribbean. Convinced by his boss that this was the road to riches Steve moved from NYC to manage the new store.  Realizing that the high price of living in paradise did not cover personal costs, Steve was ready to call it quits. His boss, realizing that the store will disintegrate the minute Steve leaves, is desperately delaying Steve’s departure and assures him that a replacement will arrive in three months.

May Steve take the next flight out? If the branch does indeed fail as a result, can the boss hold Steve legally responsible for negligence?

L  Goldenstein, Rabbi of Congregation Beth Israel was accused of laundering money. With their Rabbi in jail, the community hired Isaac Levin, and  soon fell in love with their new Rabbi. A year and a half later, with the charges proven wrong, Rabbi Goldenstein was released and ready to reoccupy his pulpit. May the community keep with Isaac Lewin, or do they have a duty to reinstate Rabbi Goldenstein?
